Norma Campos Kurtz is a community leader and longtime Anaheim resident who was appointed to serve as our City Councilmember in January 2023. During her time on the Council, Norma has worked to make neighborhoods safer, improve programs for seniors, help Anaheim businesses create jobs, and address homelessness with a focus on housing and mental health.

Norma served two years on the Anaheim Public Utilities Board and eight years on Anaheim’s Housing and Community Development Commission. She is currently a board member for Anaheim Beautiful, a nonprofit that encourages the preservation and enhancement of local neighborhoods.

Norma’s professional career includes working as the Vice President of the California Medical Association, the Director of Workforce and Economic Development for the Orange County Labor Federation, and as the District Director for both former State Senator Joe Dunn and former State Assemblymember Tom Daly. Earlier in her career, she was an associate Vice President at Pacific Bell, now AT&T Inc., where she worked for more than 20 years.

Norma lives with her husband, Ken, in South Anaheim.
